Yet another way to carry long slings…

June 17, 2010

A picture is worth a thousand words...

A few weeks ago here on DCT was a post about how to shorten and carry longer slings. Today’s tip offers yet another method. This method is exclusively for 48″ (60 cm 120 cm) slings. Since this particular method is easier to show in a photo than it is to describe with words, just look at the pic to the right.

The benefit to this method is that you can easily unclip one end of the sling from the biner and just pull it off. It’s much easier than trying to pull it off your shoulders, especially when you’ve got a big ol’ helmet on and a million other slings around your shoulders.

Best method indeed, just a small correction: 48″ = 120 cm

Thanks, Laurentiu! Haha I always seem to mess that up for some reason!
